– Activity Reflection –
2023年3月11日，
植树节的前一天，
Preserver的成员们，
在乌鲁木齐中路160号碰面，
摆出了春日限定的种子盲盒小摊。
On March 11, 2023,
The day before Arbor Day,
Members of The Preserver,
Met at 160 Wulumuqi Middle Road,
Setting up a seed blind box stall.
Vol.01 前期准备
– Early Stage Preparations –
从寒假开始，Preserver的成员们就一直希望能举办更多形式更加丰富的线下活动，所以在2月中旬，我们产生了在植树节卖种子的想法。
为了能让活动顺利开展，我们一直在紧锣密鼓地筹备和安排所需的材料、物料，以及人员。
Since winter break, members of The Preserver have been looking forward to hold more diverse offline activities. Therefore, in mid-February, we came up with the idea of selling seeds on Arbor Day.
To ensure implementation, we have been working hard to prepare and arrange the materials and personnel.
完成基本的分工和安排后，我们就正式进入了盲盒制作环节！
After establishing the work distribution and arrangement, we started to work on the production of our blind boxes.
一只种子盲盒的成长历程
– Growth Course –
包装
为了践行可持续的概念，Preserver此次制作的盲盒内里使用的是人们废弃不用的快递纸盒。外包装用到了以荛花树的树皮为原材料制作的东巴纸。

由于这次活动我们和校内的植物社联名，所以种子由植物社友情赞助
*Packaging
In keeping with the concept of sustainability, the blind boxes are made from discarded delivery boxes. For pacakging, we used Dongba paper made with wikstroemia tree bark to minimize pollution.

Vol.02 活动现场
– Event Site –
3月11日下午三点左右，The Preserver的成员和朋友们在乌鲁木齐路160号汇合，开始布置和装饰摊位，为接下来的活动做好准备。
我们的摊位上也有一个特殊嘉宾–墨汁。墨汁是参与摆摊活动一名同学的小狗，凭借可爱的外表和出圈的人气，它成为了我们的吉祥物。
At mid-afternoon on March 11, members of The Preserver and friends met at 160 Wulumuqi Road to start setting up and decorating booths in preparation for the upcoming event.
We also have a special guest at our booth — Mochi. Mochi is the dog of a student who participated in the stall activity. With its lovely appearance and popularity in the circle, Mochi became our lovely mascot 🙂
回顾摆摊现场，这次活动比我们所预想的还要顺利–刚把包裹摆上时就有一位路人姐姐买走了一包种子。在接下来的几个小时里，也有许多热情的路人驻足支持，这些人中有学校里的老师，有来中国旅行的外国友人，甚至还有一些校友。和他们交流的过程中，我们也感受到了大家对环境保护事业的关心和支持，这让我我们非常感动，也坚定了我们坚持下去的决心。
Looking back at the stall, the event went better than we expected – a passer-by woman bought a packet of seeds as soon as the parcel was placed. Over the next few hours, many enthusiastic passers-by stopped to offer their support, including teachers from the school, foreign travelers to China and even alumni. Thier communication with us reflecetd thier concern and support for the cause of environmental protection, which moved us very much and strengthened our determination to stick to our goal.

The sale went better than expected–our blind box package sold out in less than two hours ✌🏻
在这里The Preserver也想感谢所有来到现场的志愿者朋友们，是大家的努力和环保热忱使得我们的活动能够顺利的开展。
The Preserver would like to thank all the volunteers who came to the site. Your efforts and enthusiasm toward environemntal protention significantly contributed to the smooth implementation of our activity.

– Reflection –
参加了这次活动的几位同学都有很深的感触，有一些自己想说的话和感受，让我们一起来看看大家的Reflection吧！

作为本次活动的发起者，看到活动的顺利开展我非常开心！虽然前期的准备真的很累，基本每天放学后都在为这个活动忙碌，但是在盲盒卖完的那一刻我感觉这一切都值得！希望我们的活动能让更多的人感受到植树节的意义，在这样一个美好的节日种下一株属于自己的植物，为这个世界增添一份绿色和美好。
As the initiator of this activity, I am really gratified to see the smooth implementation of this activity. Although the preparation was indeed arduous, I felt it was worth it when the blind box was sold out! I hope our activities can inspire more people to understand the meaning of Arbor Day, in such a beautiful festival to plant a plant of their own, for the world to add a green and beautiful.

这次义卖践行了我们社团以实践来展示环保的意义的宗旨 —— 购买种子盲盒能够让人们在植树节实践种植。同时，这次活动锻炼了我的推销能力，也认识了很多对环保感兴趣的善良的人。
This charity sale mainly publicized the purpose of our club, which is to show the importance and practicality of environmental protection. Buying a blind box give them a chance to start planting before arbor day. At the same time, this activity has trained my sales promotion ability and met many kind people who are interested in environmental protection.

这次植树节义卖活动非常有意义也很有意思！通过义卖我们加强了更多人对于环保重要与严肃性的意识，也能够使更多人对于3月12日植树节的概念加深。这次植树节遇到了在社会中不同年龄段做着形形色色职业来自五湖四海的人们，在与他们的交谈中我们也收获到了人们对于环保的不同看法与意见。在此还结交到了许多朋友！还让我的小狗获得了一次小明星的体验哈哈哈哈😂
This Arbor Day bazaar is very meaningful and interesting! Through the bazaar, we can strengthen more people’s awareness of the importance and seriousness of environmental protection, enabling more people to deepen the concept of March 12 Arbor Day. On this Arbor Day, we met people from all over the world who are doing a variety of occupations in different age groups in the society. In the conversation with them, we also gained people’s different views and opinions on environmental protection. I also made many friends here! And let my puppy get a little star experience haha ha ha 😂

作为活动现场的一员，我觉得这很有意义。很多人可能会问我们为什么要卖种子，是因为我们的行动可以让更多人意识到植树节和环保的意义。
As a member who participated in this activity, I think this is meaningful. A lot of people ask us why we sell seeds. Our action can make them realize that Arbor Day is an important day and also the significance of protecting the environment.
